Yogev co-founded Genome Compiler, a startup in the Synthetic Biology field that was acquired in April 2016 by Twist Bioscience. Twist is developing a novel technology to synthesize DNA and Genome Compiler created the DNA design software for scientists in the field. After the acquisition, Genome Compiler became the Israel R&D Center, located in Rothschild, Tel Aviv.
